Masterminding EDEN Terms and Conditions

• Welcome to Masterminding EDEN. By registering for or attending the Masterminding EDEN Members Event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which govern participation, accommodations, contributions, and community conduct throughout the retreat experience.
   

Prices and Taxes

Masterminding EDEN is a members-only event held at the Boulder Creek Retreat and Training Center. Participation requires an active membership in the Masterminding EDEN community. All listed costs represent cooperative cost-sharing contributions that support accommodations, meals, programming, and shared facility use. These are not commercial hotel rates.
All prices are in USD. Taxes, service fees, or transaction charges may apply depending on your method of payment or region.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your space. Payments are not accepted on-site.
You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your stay, arrival guidelines, and check-in information.

Accommodation Types

Masterminding EDEN offers shared dorms, private units, camping, glamping tents, and RV sites.
Each dorm is designated for males, females, or co-ed. If an incorrect dorm type is selected, we reserve the right to adjust your room assignment to maintain safety and respect among participants.

Meal Plans

Most on-site accommodations include an all-inclusive meal plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, coffee, and tea.
The meal plan is optional for guests booking camping, RV sites, or off-site accommodations.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Your registration confirms your commitment to participate in this collaborative experience. Because the event requires extensive coordination of accommodations, meals, staffing, and programming, cancellations impact the entire community. Refunds are offered according to the following schedule:
 

Membership Contribution Refunds
• Cancellations before January 1, 2026: Full refund minus a ten dollar administrative fee
• Cancellations from January 1 through February 29, 2026: 75 percent refund
• Cancellations from March 1 through March 31, 2026: 50 percent refund
• Cancellations on or after April 1, 2026: No refund
 

Meal Plans
Meal plans are fully refundable up to 30 days before the event start date.
For adults, meal plans are 65 dollars per day. For children under 10, the rate is 40 dollars per day.
After the 30-day mark, meal plans are no longer refundable due to advance purchasing and kitchen provisioning.
 

Accommodation Refunds
Accommodation refunds follow the membership contribution schedule unless otherwise specified by your booking type.

• Transfers
  You may transfer your registration to another qualified participant up to 14 days before the event, pending approval.
  All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to the Masterminding EDEN team.

• Event Postponement or Cancellation
  If Masterminding EDEN must postpone or cancel the event, all payments will be refunded minus a ten dollar administrative fee.
   

Compassion Clause

We understand that life can change unexpectedly. In cases of serious medical emergencies, natural disasters, or significant circumstances beyond your control, partial or full credits, refunds, or transfers may be offered at the discretion of the organizing team. Each request will be reviewed with care, compassion, and consideration for both your individual situation and the needs of the event.

Traveling with Minors

Children are welcome in select accommodations. They must be supervised at all times unless enrolled in on-site childcare.
Childcare is available during designated hours for a daily fee, coordinated directly with the on-site provider.
Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring minors so we can ensure appropriate lodging and support.

Accessibility

The Boulder Creek Retreat and Training Center was not originally designed for accessibility. The property includes uneven terrain, steep paths, and limited ground-level access. Only a small number of rooms have stair-free entry, and there are no wheelchair-accessible bathrooms onsite.

Parking

On-site parking is available for registered attendees. Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk. The venue and organizers are not responsible for theft or damage (but we don't expect any.)

Events and Activities

The event may include workshops, presentations, physical activities, and community gatherings. Participation is optional but encouraged to support the shared purpose of the retreat.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure rest and respect for all participants.

Dispute Resolution

If concerns arise, please contact the organizing team in person or by email at support@mastermindingeden.com.
If issues cannot be resolved informally, disputes will be governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

Use of Personal Information

By registering, you consent to the use of your contact information for event-related communications, updates, and community follow-up. Your personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties.

Liability

Participation in Masterminding EDEN involves physical and group activities that may include outdoor movement, workshops, and collaborative exercises. By attending, you assume responsibility for your own well-being and release the organizers, staff, and venue from liability for injury, loss, or damage except where prohibited by law.

Force Majeure

Masterminding EDEN is not responsible for cancellations or modifications caused by events outside our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, transportation interruptions, or government restrictions.

​

Third Party Rights

These Terms and Conditions apply only between the attendee and Masterminding EDEN. No third party has enforceable rights under these terms.

​

Waiver

Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.

​

Severance

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
