Michael Davyd (Ney)
Director & Chief Visionary Officer
Michael Davyd is digital media producer and filmmaker. After attending a Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School in Sydney, he began professional life with backstage theatre work - soon specialising in lighting design and director's assistant. After several years working in various theatres, he also worked in television production. Later, he pivoted into stills photography running his own commercial studio whilst being a regular contributor for Nature & Health and Simply Living magazines and many other clients. Michael created many audio-visual shows, and importantly, toured them as a precursor to his later documentary work. Over the past 4 decades Michael has successfully produced numerous creative projects, eg corporate videos, innovative multimedia CD-ROMs, websites and multimedia theatre. His passion is documentary projects - producing, directing and editing. His releases include "Crystal Waters – 30 Years On" about the world's first permaculture ecovillage - and his favorite project ever "Peace Angels - first steps" about a spiritually based theatre troupe whi staged a huge event for Peace Week 2011. Michael also produced, shot and co-edited "Baba's Birthday" about Avatar Meher Baba. His current project is "Beyond Being Human - open source awakening" - exploring our multidimensional nature and nurturing our divine spark.
