Hamza Egal, Founder and CEO of IDA, is a visionary leader and social justice strategist with over 15 years of experience working across Africa, the UK, and the Middle East. His work focuses on intersectional approaches to equity, ethical innovation, and climate resilience. A strong advocate for marginalised communities, Hamza brings together tech, policy, and grassroots mobilisation to address systemic injustice. Alongside building AVN, he leads the #NotOnOurPlates campaign. He has been instrumental in grassroots organising, international advocacy, and securing funding to support cooperative farming models, ethical infrastructure, and youth-led innovation. Under his leadership, IDA is a global force for ethical transformation in agriculture and beyond.
