Gerry Aab
First Principles Engineer
For over two decades, I have been deeply engaged in the exploration and design of a radically new kind of civilization—one built from first principles to provide sustainable abundance and a higher quality of life. My life’s work, HubTropolis, is a meticulously developed vision for a future city designed to harmonize human prosperity with environmental stewardship.
This journey began with a letter I shared with thought leaders like Nelson Mandela, and Steve Jobs —an invitation to reimagine civilization not through incremental fixes, but by envisioning the ideal future and engineering backward to create it today. Since then, HubTropolis has grown into a comprehensive blueprint for a city of 40 million people, featuring decentralized infrastructure, zero-waste systems, rapid transit, dynamic living spaces, and a governance model prioritizing human well-being.
Masterminding EDEN represents a convergence of visionaries who, like me, see civilization not as a static inheritance but as an evolving design challenge. My attendance would be an opportunity to contribute my experience in systems thinking, urban planning, and collaborative innovation while learning from others on similar transformative journeys. I look forward to engaging in deep discussions, exchanging groundbreaking ideas, and forging alliances that will accelerate the realization of cities and societies built for the future, rather than constrained by the past.
