Fernando is an international entrepreneur deeply committed to social justice and global sustainability. He studied Latin American politics at Dartmouth College and the Tuck School of Business, and has worked as a consultant for various multinational companies as well as US Federal Government institutions.
His work centers on establishing global education programs that tackle the world’s most urgent challenges while providing localized solutions. Fernando develops sustainability projects with leading companies across Mexico, the United States, and Canada, and collaborates with indigenous elders and wisdom keepers worldwide to preserve and share their knowledge on global sustainability. Additionally, he creates private-public partnerships aimed at enhancing environmental and socioeconomic conditions at a bioregional level.
With a systems-thinking approach, Fernando promotes strategic solutions to complex problems. He is also an author, event leader, and developer of sustainability training centers, all dedicated to advancing his mission of fostering a more sustainable future.
