Eric Belarbre
Engineer Entrepreneur | NetX State
Eric Belarbre has been researching network states, virtual nations, and free cities for several years, with a strong focus on real-world impact, particularly in decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN). He has observed that while many intentional communities function well, they often struggle to scale. Eric believes that advancements in AI and cryptocurrency will unlock this scalability, and he is currently planning a city designed to accommodate 100,000 people by integrating the best known practices, many of which are enhanced through AI insights. He is actively exploring the possibility of establishing this city within a special economic zone in Argentina aimed at regeneration.
With a background in engineering and physics, Eric has experience working in deep tech hardware startups, including ventures in virtual reality and medical devices. International in outlook, having lived in France, China, Australia, and now Argentina, Eric identifies as somewhat of a nomad. His goal is to reside in a regenerative community that embraces technology to advance humanity.
