Michael Smith
Inventor, AI Software Engineer | CEO REGENiTECH
Automated waste to energy biorefineries producing organic biostimulants and soil amendments.
Michael Smith is a regenerative-systems inventor and entrepreneur, founder and president of REGENiTECH LLC in Montana. He leads the design of closed-loop, algae-integrated biorefineries that convert organic waste into electricity, heat, biochar, and soil-regenerating biostimulants. An experienced AI and software engineering leader with deep automation expertise, his background spans physics, applied ecology, and product development. Smith invented the Green Power House system and was featured in the award-winning documentary The Need To GROW. Today he’s advancing REGENiTECH’s Earth Power Lodge facilities and related platforms that localize energy, restore soils, and operationalize circular-economy infrastructure at scale.
Michael Smith wants to participate in Masterminding EDEN because it unites his lifelong passions for technology, regeneration, and immersive world building. A systems inventor and avid gamer, Michael sees EDEN’s multiplayer simulation and digital design engine as the perfect fusion of storytelling, strategy, and science, a living game where humanity learns to rebuild civilization in harmony with nature. Drawing from decades of experience in AI, automation, and software engineering, he’s excited to contribute to the game’s technical architecture and help model closed-loop ecological systems that players can build, test, and replicate in the physical world. For him, Masterminding EDEN is not just a event; it is an evolutionary training ground for the next generation of creators, engineers, and visionaries committed to regenerating Earth.
