Facilitator, teacher, landscape manager, community organizer

I grew up in cities always seeking out the grass between the sidewalk and the little bits of wild. My heart is dedicated to social justice and my passion is facilitating multi-cultural/lingual collaborative design. I lived for 12 years in Guatemala and now my wife and our 3 and 6 year old sons split time between our home and retreat center in Tennessee and our home and hotel on Lake Atitlán. I'm fascinated by the complexities of what it takes to save this lake from social and ecological catastrophe and have dedicated myself to this. I have been exploring traditional Maya health and spiritual practices for nearly two decades and am eager to better understand how these systems can be nurtured within modern cultures. I believe that if a solution isn't from and for everyone, it won't work for anyone. This is why I'm drawn to the collaborative nature of this project, and eager to support.
