Lawyer and Strategy & Operations at Earth Law Center's NGA
A Rights of Nature advocate based in Los Angeles and with a background in civil rights litigation and corporate law for nonprofits and social enterprises, I transitioned into advocating for the Earth when I came to understand our planet, our Home, needed more voices to protect and restore itself to its natural state... and that the power of shifting towards an ecocentric worldview will build a regenerative and inclusive Home for all.
I am driven by my tenacity and creativity to advocate for the Earth. With expertise in ecocentric governance, legal consulting, and strategic planning and partnership development, I aspire to embed Nature's Rights and creative regenerative design to drive systemic change at an organizational and local level.
Presently, my Rights of Nature advocacy efforts ("RoN") include:
- Co-leading strategy, operations, and planning of ecocentric governance initiatives with Nature at the forefront of organizations and businesses, including co-developing inclusive legal tools such as relational contracts; creating harmonious organizational practices; overseeing and co-developing the Dandelion Fellowship Program; facilitating collaborative partnerships; and developing the vision for the Fire affinity within Nature inclusive governance and integrated system design (Earth Law Center's Nature Governance Agency)
- Supporting the just transition of the Lough Neagh ownership from the current owner to the Lough's community stakeholders (Earth Law Center)
- Brainstorming and designing RoN initiatives to protect Caribou in Ontario (Earth Law Center)
- Development of legal advocacy for keystone species in Mesoamerica and North America (Keystone Species Alliance)
