Astrid Forero is a lawyer and environmental consultant with over a decade of experience, specializing in climate change, carbon footprint management, and sustainability. As the founder and director of CES Environmental Solutions, she leads a team dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of businesses through carbon footprint assessments, carbon neutrality plans, and verified GHG emissions reductions, all aligned with international standards such as ISO 14064, ISO 14068-1, the GHG Protocol, and SBTi Net Zero targets.
Astrid is a certified carbon footprint auditor (AENOR) and has led impactful projects across Colombia, including carbon credit programs, forest conservation initiatives, and nature-based solutions that empower rural communities and promote biodiversity protection. With a strong legal background and a specialization in environmental management, she actively contributes to climate policy and ecosystem restoration through partnerships with local governments, NGOs, and international investors.
